The partnership will allow for the establishment of a Wildlife Management Area (WMA) agreement that will affect 10,273 acres of the university’s land.
The university’s Justice, Excellence, Diversity and Inclusion (JEDI) Leadership Program underwent a pilot program in the Fall 2024 semester, and has received a grant from Columbia Gas of Kentucky’s NiSource Charitable Foundation that will allow the program to continue.

Family Scholar House has partnered with Elizabethtown Community and Technical College to bring a residential campus to the college to house 48 student parents and their families.
The grant comes from the Kentucky Association of Health Plan, Inc. and will fund a pilot program of a new initiative to provide laptops and wellness coaching to healthcare students.
The Jesse Stuart Institute is a dual-credit opportunity that will allow Greenup County Schools students to earn an associate degree from Ashland Community and Technical College while still in high school.
The grant comes from the Valinhos Foundation, which is a mental health-focused organization aimed at serving children, young adults, and families throughout Indiana via mental wellbeing initiatives.
The scholarships endowed by the gift include the Alumni Scholarship in Teaching, the James A. Woodard Community Service Award, the Joseph L. Quinn Memorial Scholarship, the Pi Kappa Alpha Alumni Scholarship, the Wiseman Technology Scholarship, and the Pi Kappa Alpha Faith-Centered Life Award.
The grant comes from the Avis Foundation and will help improve the university’s animal health and veterinary nursing program, the Executive Coaching and Leadership Certificate program, and the Doctoral Program in Occupational Therapy.
