Healthcare training schools in West Virginia

The West Virginia Community and Technical College System collaborated with the Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission to award Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College with a grant to buy a new ambulance.

Elijah Stewart was awarded West Virginia University Institute of Technology’s First Year Student Excellence Award, and four graduating students were presented with the Leonard C. Nelson Presidential Leadership award.

The West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission recently presented Eastern West Virginia Community and Technical College’s Curtis Hakala with the Educator Award for his work providing students with open educational resources.
