Located in Lexington, Kentucky, the new health education center will give LMU nursing students a place to train with current technology and access to quality nursing education.

Beginning in the Fall 2024 semester, students will be able to take the Associate of Arts in Education concentration to complete the first two years of a bachelor degree.

The Elizabeth Gates Technology Scholarship will be awarded to outstanding students in the cybersecurity or information technology programs, along with potential internships or paid employment opportunities with Omni Strategic Technologies.

The grant awarded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Health Resources and Services Administration totals $1.7 million for use over five years.

The Olivet Direct! program first began in 2022 and includes 18 school districts in its Direct Admissions agreement.

The agreement takes effect in the upcoming Fall 2024 semester with 15 students taking advantage.
