The new concentrations will provide education students with streamlined pathways to their careers.

The grant was awarded by the U.S. Department of Labor to the North Shore Manufacturing Workforce Partnership, a consortium of community colleges in Ohio, of which Owens Community College is part. The grant will support advanced manufacturing training.
The Boden Family Scholarship Fund is available to students from Wyandot County, with preference given to engineering students or those who will pursue an automotive-related career.
The program, which launched in 2022, provides free Columbus State Community College tuition for students who graduate from Columbus City Schools.
The partnership established a Memorandum of Understanding that will give Charleston Area Alliance employees, members, and their spouses tuition reduction to the university, and will see the CAA promoting the university as a university partner to its members.
The contribution toward the university’s hands-on agricultural education facility comes from Mike and Brenda Miller.
The program will be available beginning in the Summer 2025 semester to help Licensed Practical Nurses earn their associate degree and allow them to pursue licensure to become a Registered Nurse.
The grant was awarded to the university’s Aquatic and Recreation Center to improve the facility’s accessibility via the installation of an ADA-compliant chair lift.
The new Associate of Applied Science degree program will be launched in August 2025 and will be offered both on campus and online.
