A new building is under construction at Bluegrass Community and Technical College’s Newton North Campus. The building will be the home of several of the school’s programs such as their Dental Hygiene program.

Big Sandy Community and Technical College held a ribbon cutting ceremony on October 7 for its new East Kentucky Oral Health Training Center, which will be the home for the school’s Dental Assisting/Dental Hygiene Integrated Program.

The program will train students to identify and investigate cultural resources as well as plans for their use, curation, and preservation.
