The Occupational Therapy Assistant program at Shawnee State University is offered in partnership with Southern State Community College. Students will take courses in psychology, medical terminology, and therapeutic interventions. Fieldwork is also included in the program requirements.

The expanded partnership between the university and the healthcare organization includes establishing a site for Shawnee State University’s College of Health & Human Services within Adena Health’s PACCAR Medical Education Center.
