Watch party event for Owens Community College being featured on Amazon Prime show
Owens Community College is the state’s first community college to be featured on the program The College Tour.
A watch party is planned for Monday, October 23 from 5:30 to 6:30 pm on Owens Community College’s Perrysburg campus, with another planned for 12pm to 1pm Thursday, November 2 on the Findlay campus.
The occasion? The school is featured on the Amazon Prime series The College Tour. The award-winning program is a 30-minute glimpse into colleges across the country, offering looks into the student life, sports, and academics of each school from the perspective of students who currently attend the school.
According to an article on Owens Community College's website, nine Owens Community College students and one dean are going to appear in the episode: Tyler Bender, Al Mitchell, Sabrina Myers, Caleb Prince, Quinton Roberts, Adrian Smith, Joe Smith, Hayley St. John, Skyler Vogelsong, and Lucas Wisuri.
The students share their experiences at Owens Community College and give a tour of the campus.
