The $3 million in funding was presented to the university by Congressman James Comer.
The grant comes from the US Department of Agriculture’s National Institute of Food and Agriculture Capacity Building Grants program and will help prepare students for agriculture careers.
The grant will allow the museum to inventory and catalog its collection, which is estimated to total more than 50,000 artifacts and works of art.
The gift comes from the late Dr. Harader’s wife to continue funding the scholarship, which supports students in political science.
The gift comes from the AGE Fisher Family Foundation and will establish the Hub for Innovation, Ventures and Entrepreneurship (HIVE) within the College of Engineering.
