The partnership will focus on re-engaging nontraditional students who left the university before completing a degree, setting them back on the path to graduation.
Indiana State University has formed a partnership with myFootpath for an initiative that will help nontraditional students who have dropped out of school become re-engaged and empowered to come back and complete their education. myFootpath will give the university comprehensive student data, technology, and coaching to help university staff re-engage students who never completed their degree.
According to an article on Indiana State University’s website, Maribeth Stevens, who serves as the university’s Vice President of Enrollment Management, was quoted as saying of the partnership, “Indiana State University is deeply committed to expanding access and opportunity for adult and returning learners. Partnering with myFootpath strengthens our ability to reconnect with former students and provide them with the personalized support they need to achieve their academic and professional goals. We are excited about the impact this collaboration will have on our students and our community.”
The organization will work with the university to bring these students back, support them throughout their education journey, and lead them to graduation and a degree. myFootpath was established in 2000 to help universities and colleges form relationships with students who became disengaged from their education and ultimately help them succeed in completing their degree.
JT Allen, the CEO and Founder of myFootpath, said, “Institutions across the country are looking for meaningful, scalable ways to reconnect with students who still want to finish what they started. Indiana State University understands the importance of meeting students where they are. We’re proud to partner with them to deliver actionable data insights and personalized coaching that help students reenter higher education, stay on track, and ultimately earn their degrees.”
