The grant from the DENSO North America Foundation will allow LTU students and faculty to measure and analyze acoustic data to enhance the ability of autonomous vehicles to recognize potential hazards.
Vincennes University held its Innovative Teaching Summit on Friday, October 25. The event aimed to prepare K-12 educators to provide their students with quality education, utilizing the latest technology and teaching methods.
The Cleary Direct Connect program was first introduced last year and has now been expanded to include every graduating high school senior in the state of Michigan. Eligible students will be automatically admitted into the university without needing to go through an application process.
The agreement, signed on November 2, 2024, will provide admittance to Central Michigan University for eligible Delta College students. The agreement also helps to maximize credit transferring to save students time and money.
The program has been approved by the Michigan Board of Nursing and will officially begin in January 2025.
The partnership of 11 public universities around the state guarantees admission to Michigan high school graduates with a 3.0 or better GPA.
The agreement sets aside two guaranteed spots per cohort for qualified Calvin University students in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program in Baylor University’s Robbins College of Health and Human Sciences.
The program will officially begin in the Fall 2025 semester, though interested students can get a head start on coursework for the major before then.
