In 2003, West Kentucky Technical College and Paducah Community College merged to create West Kentucky Community and Technical College. Celebrations will take place year round.

New York’s private Hilbert College has acquired for-profit Valley College in a new agreement. The schools will operate independently, under the banner of a new nonprofit entity called Franciscan Services.

A new culinary academy facility has opened up at Pierpont Community and Technical College. The facility offers new kitchen and classroom spaces, as well as other training facilities.
