Veterinary Assistant - Certificate

This two-semester program at Volunteer State Community College is designed to help students quickly start their careers as veterinary assistants. Students will learn about topics such as medical terminology, veterinary economics, and veterinary assistant nursing.

Dental Assisting - Certificate, AAS

Two Dental Assisting programs are offered at Volunteer State Community College. One awards a certificate and one awards an associate of applied science degree. Students who have already earned the certificate may apply it toward their degree hours. Students will learn radiology, medical terminology, and chairside dental assisting.
