About Medina County Career Center

Medina County Career Center aims to enhance the lives of those in the area by providing quality education to students who will enter the workforce with quality training behind them.

Medina County Career Center offers the following healthcare-related courses:

Dental Assisting

Students in the Dental Assisting program at Medina County Career Center will receive 580 hours of classroom instruction time and will take part in 160 hours of internship time. Students will be prepared to work alongside a dentist and to take the CODA certification exam. Among the learning modules for students in this program are radiology, patient education, and dental specialties.

Medical Office Administrative Assistant

Medina County Career Center offers a hybrid Medical Office Administrative Assistant program. Students in the program will learn skills related to the administrative tasks taken on by office assistants in medical settings, including professional communication, basics of medical billing, and electronic health records.

Medical Assisting

Students in the Medical Assisting program at Medina County will learn both clinical and administrative skills to become entry-level medical assistants. Combining classroom lecture and offsite practicum, the program will teach students important aspects of medical assisting like CPR, medical terminology, and office skills.
