University of Northwestern Ohio offers a Medical Assistant Technology program that trains medical assistants to have a business background. The program will train students to become competent entry-level medical assistants. Students will take classes like Administrative Skills for the Medical Assistant, Medical Accounting Software, and Healthcare in the Community. Students will also take part in externships.

Rome Charpentier recently visited the campus of UNOH thanks to two students who work on his crew. Charpentier toured the facilities, did a demonstration of his driving skills, and commended both the students and programs at the university.
As students returned to UNOH this month, the university is prepared for their arrival by investing in more than 200 hydroxyl generators to improve sanitation of the campus and mitigate the spread of COVID-19.
