Dana Incorporated renews partnership with University of Northwestern Ohio

Support from Dana Incorporated for the automotive program at University of Northwestern Ohio includes donation of equipment and guest lecturers.

University of Northwestern Ohio (UNOH) will continue to receive support from a regional aftermarket auto parts supplier, Dana Incorporated. The company recently renewed its partnership with the university, providing training equipment for the automotive program as well as sending employees to campus as guest lecturers. Top executives at Dana Incorporated say that partnering with the university is a way to support the students who will be working with their products in the field.

A news release from the university states that Dana Incorporated donated six full axle assemblies to give students hands-on experiences in the classroom. President Jeffrey Jarvis of UNOH said of the partnership, "Partnering with UNOH provides Dana with a great opportunity to build brand recognition with the school, faculty, and students. We know the students will benefit from working with Dana products as they advance their education, and this initiative will help keep Dana top-of-mind as they complete their training and enter the workforce."

Bill Nunnery, senior director of sales and marketing and global aftermarket for Dana Incorporated, said, "UNOH is our neighbor in Ohio and we are proud to support their first-class automotive program. At Dana, we believe it is important to support the automotive instructors in our own backyard that are sharing their knowledge and working diligently to train the next generation of automotive service professionals."

UNOH offers multiple automotive programs through its College of Applied Technologies, including bachelor and associate degrees and a diploma program.
