The four-semester Dental Assisting program offered by Lakeland Community College will prepare students to become competent and qualified entry-level dental assistants. Students will take courses like Infection Control, Customer Service and Healthcare, and Dental Science and Oral Pathology.
Medical Assisting - Certificate
Lakeland Community College offers a four-semester Medical Assisting program. Students will learn both clinical and administrative skills in order to become a well-rounded entry-level medical assistant. These skills include phone triage, taking vital signs, and scheduling appointments.
