Montcalm Community College offers the following healthcare-related courses:

Medical Assistant Certificate

The goal of the program is to prepare competent entry-level Medical Assistants in the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills) and affective (behavior) learning domains. Progression in the medical assistant program is determined academically by the minimum grade of a C+ (78 percent) in each medical assistant course.

Medical Office Administration

This program prepares students who wish to specialize in medical transcription and medical office procedures for employment or advancement. A counselor should be consulted if the student plans to transfer to a four-year institution.

Registered Nursing

This associate in applied science degree program prepares students for employment opportunities as registered nurses. This program is designed to provide the credits necessary for eligibility to take the registered nursing licensure examination, and transferability for a bachelor's degree in nursing.

Dolores the pig has become an important part of lessons at Montcalm Community College in a course about animal science. The pig and her litter of piglets are providing real life lessons in animal agriculture and will eventually provide pork for the food bank on campus.
