Director of workforce and business solutions at Clark State College listed as one of WiBN’s Women to Watch

Tracy Yates was also named as an Extraordinary Woman of Clark County for 2023.

Clark State College's Tracy Yates has earned a spot on the list of Women to Watch Class of 2024 from the Better Business Bureau’s Women in Business Networking of Dayton and Miami Valley.

According to the BBB’s website, the Women in Business Network is “a diverse collective of women from all walks of life and professions, who share a common desire to inspire, influence and impact the professional lives of other women.” The Women to Watch are ones who make a positive impact on the community and advocate for women through their professions.

It makes sense, then, that Yates has been named to the Women to Watch Class of 2024, according to Dr. Crystal Jones, who serves as Clark State College’s VP of marketing, diversity and community impact: “This recognition is well-deserved. Tracy is a dedicated professional making a positive impact in our community. Her commitment to improvement is an inspiration to her team and the college,” Dr. Jones said in an article on the school's website.

Yates has an impressive resume, including serving on advisory boards for the Salvation Army and Small Business Development, and at Clark State College she is a Champion City Scholar Mentor, the president of Staff Senate, and a member of the Diversity Committee. Yates is instrumental in creating and developing workforce training at Clark State. She also builds relationships throughout the community in order to strengthen workforce development.

“I am honored to have been accepted into the WIBN class of 2024. I am looking forward to the opportunity to continue to grow as a woman in business and as a professional in my community.  I embrace this recognition with gratitude and humility,” said Yates.
