Malone University receives ranking in social mobility by the U.S. News and World Report

Continuing a trend of recognition by the U.S. News and World Report, Malone University has been ranked 53rd in social mobility for regional universities in the midwest.

U.S. News and World Report has once again named Malone University as one of the best colleges in the Midwest region in its 2024 ranking of the best colleges in America.

Malone University has been ranked #53 for Social Mobility - Regional Universities Midwest, and this is not the first time.

In an article posted on Malone University’s website, President Gregory Miller was quoted on the recent report, saying, “Our mission at Malone is to provide students with an education based on biblical faith, and we want to minimize barriers that can stand in the way of that mission. While receiving this affirmation is exciting and satisfying, our chief goal isn’t the recognition—it’s watching our students grow into the servant leaders God has created them to be.”

Schools are selected by the report based on criteria determined by a calculation of the quality of the school’s academic offerings as determined by the 2024 U.S. News Ranking. The Social Mobility indicator is measured by how successfully a school graduates students who are federal Pell Grant recipients.

Miller went on to say, “U.S. News affirmations continue to be an indicator that Malone University is supporting students from all backgrounds as they pursue a life of Christian flourishing. And the organization's ongoing support serves as a reminder that a Malone education is a worthy investment for students who want to pursue Christian higher education 'at such a time as this.'”
