Ferris State University’s annual Veterans Day Breakfast returns. President Bill Pink will speak at the event along with an honor guard and flag ceremony.
Ferris State University’s Veterans Day Breakfast is returning this year. The event will be located in the David L. Eisler Center Ballroom at 8 a.m. on November 11. All campus and community veterans are invited to attend.
Bill Pink, president of Ferris State University, will be speaking at the event.
Assistant Director of Veterans Services Jacob Schrot was quoted by FOX 17 on the purpose of the event, saying, “We saw this as a great opportunity to introduce Dr. Pink to this community. We have a core group of veterans who turn out each year for breakfast. So we look forward to enjoying the company of all who attend and will hear his message.”
Ferris’ Reserve Officers Training Corps will be featured at the event as they present an honor guard and flag ceremony. The National Anthem will be performed by Ferris State student Anika Jurries, and there will be a short program to end the event.
