Two students who are currently enrolled in Marion Technical College will be receiving some financial help thanks to members of the community. Some generous members of Marion County have banded together to raise both cash and tangible donations totalling over $82,000 for the Marion County School Board, which will be distributed throughout the district.

The donations were presented for acceptance to the school board on Tuesday, April 26.
