The new Corporate and Education partnership between the university and OhioGuidestone will provide the organization’s employees with a tuition discount to further their education with Bluffton University.
Bluffton University and OhioGuidestone have formed a Corporate and Education partnership that will provide OhioGuidestone employees with a tuition discount that will make it more affordable to continue their college education at Bluffton University. OhioGuidestone is an organization that provides behavioral health and substance use support for about 26,000 individuals per year.
According to an article on Bluffton University’s website, Dr. Alex Sider, who serves as the university’s president, was quoted as saying of the new partnership, “We are excited about this new partnership with OhioGuidestone. Bluffton’s commitment to academic excellence, community, and preparing students to thrive in an ever-changing world remains strong, and I am excited to work alongside our dedicated faculty, staff, and students as we continue to build upon this solid foundation.”
Individuals who are employed by OhioGuidestone, as well as their families, if they are eligible for employee benefits, will be able to receive a 20% tuition discount for online and in-person graduate degree programs at Bluffton University. Additionally, the partnership gives students the ability to pursue undergraduate courses with a $1,000 grant that students can use in combination with other grants, scholarships, and financial aid.
OhioGuidestone joins other corporate partners Auto Owners Insurance, Northwest State Community College, North Star BlueScope Steel LLC., Lima Memorial Health System, and Lewis Family McDonald’s; as well as other education partners Ada Exempted Village Schools, Benjamin Logan Local Schools, Elida Local Schools, and Kenton City Schools.
