Indiana Wesleyan University partners with Advanced eClinical Training for allied healthcare training

The partnership will give Indiana Wesleyan University students access to ACT’s short-term, online training offerings to prepare students to work in allied healthcare settings.

Indiana Wesleyan University has partnered with Advanced eClinical Training to provide its students with the platform’s short-term, online training and certifications to give students pathways toward working in allied healthcare careers.

According to an article on Indiana Wesleyan University’s website, Cassidy Floyd, who serves as the Director of Strategic Partnerships at ACT, was quoted as saying of the partnership, "We are thrilled to partner with Indiana Wesleyan University in advancing career-focused training programs in healthcare. Together, we are empowering the next generation of healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills they need to excel in their careers and make a meaningful impact in the healthcare industry."

The new partnership will give Indiana Wesleyan University students access to ACT’s content, which provides training, education, and credentials online and in a flexible schedule. The partnership will prepare the university’s students to more quickly and efficiently enter into the allied health workforce, which is especially beneficial for students who are already working, as they can earn their new credentials and learn new skills at their own pace.

ACT provides its allied healthcare training via videos, simulations, and multimedia content. It began partnering with educational institutions and employers to bring its content to more students and preparing them to enter the allied health workforce.

Angelia Yount, the Program Manager for N&G Talent Ladder, said, “This partnership is going to make a difference not just for our students but also for all of the patients they’ll be able to serve because of it. The impact this partnership could end up having can’t be emphasized enough.”
