The partnership includes a streamlined process to transfer from Cincinnati State Community College into Indiana Wesleyan University’s online programs.
Indiana Wesleyan University and Cincinnati State Community College have forged a partnership that will solidify the relationship of the two institutions and make it easier for students from Cincinnati State Community College to transfer to Indiana Wesleyan University for online courses that will allow them to finish out their college education.
According to an article on Indiana Wesleyan University’s website, Andy Miller, who serves as the university’s Vice President of Strategic Enrollment and Partnerships, was quoted as saying of the collaboration, "IWU is proud to establish a partnership with Cincinnati State. Together, we are expanding access to higher education, creating pathways to rewarding careers, and supporting the growth and success of students and the region. This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to empowering lives through education."
Students will be able to earn their associate degree with Cincinnati State Community College and then transfer to Indiana Wesleyan University, via its online course offerings, to complete a bachelor degree. The intention is to make it easier and more accessible to earn a college education through online courses.
Through the partnership, students will be able to take advantage of the many perks offered that will contribute to a more affordable college education. Students will be able to transfer up to 90 credits they earned at Cincinnati State. Additionally, students can enroll in an online bachelor’s and associate-to-master’s program at a 15% tuition discount and receive a $250 per-credit-hour tuition price if they are interested in the RN-BSN program.
