Cleary University introduces new majors and concentrations for Fall 2025 semester

The new additions include a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management program, a Master’s of Science in Management program, and several new concentrations within the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology program.

Cleary University will begin offering two new degree programs and four new concentrations within an existing major for the Fall 2025 semester. The new programs have been implemented to help fill gaps in current employment needs and to assist students working toward an in-demand career.

According to an article on Cleary University’s website, Douglas Stein, PhD, who serves as the provost and executive vice president at Cleary University, explained how it was decided to introduce these programs in particular. He is quoted as saying, “Our team continually monitors the job market so that we can offer programs that match what employers need. In addition, a projected 30 percent increase in demand for higher education means universities not only must expand to meet this growing demand but also think differently about the degree programs we are offering and the future student population and what they are looking for.”

The new programs being added for the Fall 2025 semester are a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management program, a Master’s of Science in Management program, and several new concentrations within the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology program, including Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, and Information Technology Management. Healthcare is a continually growing industry in the country, and especially in the wake of the recent pandemic, more and more skilled individuals are needed to keep up with the demand. Information technology is another growing industry as technology itself continues to evolve.

The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology program and all of its various concentrations is ideal for anyone who is interested in IT, whether they be a new high school graduate or a working adult who is seeking a career change.

“Cleary’s BS in IT will prepare students to work in all facets of IT, including cybersecurity, data analytics and IT management. Our graduates will be equipped with the skills, knowledge and IT principles organizations desperately need. Cleary graduates are leaders and problem-solvers. Cleary is pleased to also offer a major concentration in artificial intelligence (AI). This major concentration provides students with a practical approach to leverage AI to help organizations improve their success,” explained Stein.

The Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management program is similarly ideal for students interested in beginning their college journey or for adults working in the healthcare field who are seeking to advance.

Stein said of the students who pursue this program, “They will be ready for roles that will help improve healthcare operations and organizational effectiveness.”

The Master of Science in Management program is a graduate program that covers topics related to human resources, operations, and marketing, and will serve to help individuals advance their careers, no matter the field.

Speaking of Cleary University’s decision to add more course offerings, Alan Drimmer, PhD, the university’s president, said, “Cleary chose to expand its degree programs in these areas to ensure the long-term success of our graduates.” He added, “The schools that will flourish are those that are responding to emerging expectations of their students.”
