The Cleary Direct Connect program was first introduced last year and has now been expanded to include every graduating high school senior in the state of Michigan. Eligible students will be automatically admitted into the university without needing to go through an application process.
Cleary University has expanded its Cleary Direct Connect program to provide direct admission to any and all graduating seniors in the state of Michigan. Eligible students can skip the application process for Cleary University entirely and move right into enrolling if they want to attend the university.
According to an article on Cleary University’s website, Jeremy Walker, the senior vice president of Enrollment Management at Cleary University, explained that the expansion of the program will help ease some of the anxiety that students may face as they begin applying to universities. Walker is quoted as saying, “We are excited to expand this opportunity and offer it to all Michigan graduating high school seniors so they can continue their education and simplify the college admission process at the same time. Applying to a college can be a stressful experience, and our goal is to minimize that anxiety by moving right ahead to a direct admission and enrollment. Sometimes students don’t even apply because they think they won’t get in. Cleary eliminates that worry. We are eliminating those application barriers and application fees, too. In addition to providing faster access to an education from a top business school in the country, students can relax and enjoy their future academic journey, knowing they are going to [a] great college and looking forward to that experience.”
There are certain requirements that students must meet to be eligible for Cleary Direct Connect. First, students must be Michigan residents graduating from a Michigan high school. Second, students must meet the university’s minimum requirements. If those boxes are checked, then students don’t need to fill out an application and can move straight into the enrollment process, saving them on the application fee that they would need to pay to apply at most other schools.
“On an average, college applications can cost between $50 to $90 each, and students often apply to many colleges. The direct admit process will save students hundreds of dollars, which is another added benefit for students who don’t have a lot of financial resources to apply to several colleges. And we’ve shortened the wait time to hear back regarding college acceptance. Our goal is to make the college experience enriching, rewarding, affordable and enjoyable, and with Cleary Direct Connect, we can make this happen for our students,” said Walker.
