On November 14, Indiana University Northwest is hosting a student scholarship fundraising event called IU Northwest Presents: An Evening at the Orchard. Tickets are $200 per person.
Indiana University Northwest has announced that the school is bringing back its annual signature fundraising event for another year. The event is a celebration of student scholarships and is scheduled to take place on Thursday, November 14 at County Line Orchard in Hobart, Indiana at 5:30 p.m.
The event is titled IU Northwest Presents: An Evening at the Orchard. It will showcase and celebrate a number of recent accomplishments that have taken place on campus, shine a light on some current initiatives at the school, and take a look at where the school wants to go in the future as it plans to guide more students through the higher education landscape.
In an article posted about the event on Indiana University Northwest’s website, IU Northwest interim Chancellor Vicki Román-Lagunas was quoted about the event, saying, “We are excited to bring together IU Northwest alumni, community partners, faculty and staff to celebrate our students’ successes as we reconnect and recommit around our foundational pillars of student success, transformative research and service to state.”
Tickets to the event are priced at $200 for a single person, or $1,600 for a table of eight people. The money raised through ticket sales will go to the IU Northwest Development Fund where it will be used to fund future student scholarships.
Attendees to the event can expect cocktails and dinner, as well as speeches from campus leadership, and the opportunity to network with other members of the community, while enjoying a beautiful venue.
Román-Lagunas was further quoted about the event, saying, “We are grateful to Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana, An Evening at the Orchard title sponsor, for their continued commitment to enriching the lives of our students and this region’s future.”
