The Siena Saints Graduate Scholarship will grant a 25% reduction in tuition to any alumni student returning to take graduate-level courses.
Beginning in the Summer 2024 semester, any student who is a graduate of Siena Heights University will be able to take advantage of the Siena Saints Graduate Scholarship to receive 25% off their tuition costs for graduate-level courses.
According to an article on Siena Heights University’s website, Dr. Douglas B. Palmer, who is the university’s president, was quoted as saying of the new scholarship, “Siena Heights understands the transformative impact of a graduate degree. We believe in lifelong learning. By providing this discount, we continue to emphasize the value of liberal arts. This extends our commitment to our alumni to equip them with the knowledge and skills they need to reach new heights in their chosen career paths. As a result, the network of Siena Saints across diverse industries is strengthened.”
The university has been committed to supporting lifelong learning for its students, and this new scholarship is one more way it is showing its support. A tuition discount will encourage more undergraduate alumni to take advantage and pursue graduate studies at the university.
The master’s-level courses currently offered by Siena Heights University include Business Administration, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Healthcare Leadership, Higher Education Leadership, Nursing, and Organizational Leadership. All of these courses are available to take with the discount offered by the Siena Saints Graduate Scholarship.
One graduate of a master’s degree program at Siena Heights University extolled the benefits of receiving a master’s degree, saying, “The degree itself and the experience in school had given me a boost in being able to do things. It allowed me to know that I was able to accomplish things that I never thought I would be able to accomplish… It gave me a sense of pride knowing that I was able to get that quality and level of education.”
