Ashtabula County Technical and Career Campus to host Career Night

Students considering attending Ashtabula County Technical and Career Campus can attend a Career Night on December 1 to see where an A-Tech education could lead them.

On December 1, from 5-7 p.m. Ashtabula County Technical and Career Campus is hosting its yearly Career Night. Students and their families are invited to the campus at 1565 Route 167.

Those who cannot attend in person will have the opportunity to join in online for a Virtual Career Night from 5:30-6 p.m.

Students who do attend will have the chance to see what opportunities each of A-Tech’s 19 career technical programs can provide.

Attending families can see the opportunities presented to sophomore students during A-Tech’s Sophomore Showcase events which have been taking place all November. Students who have been unable to attend the Sophomore Showcase at their home schools are encouraged to come to Career Night so that they can learn what advantages A-Tech can offer them for their career path through free college credit and industry certifications.

Amanda Schumann, who is the coordinator of A-Tech Career Pathways was quoted in an article by Yahoo! News about Career Night, saying, "Coming to A-Tech is making an investment in your future by learning skills, earning free college credits and industry certifications and giving us the privilege of helping you lay out a plan of where you want to go and the steps you need to take to get there."

More information about A-Tech’s Career Night can be gained by reaching out to Amanda Schumann at 440-576-6015, ext. 1115, or through email at amanda.schumann@atech.edu.
