University of Cincinnati Clermont College introduces three new academic programs

The new Health Informatics, Hospitality Management, and Neuroscience programs will all begin with the Summer 2025 or Fall 2025 semester.

Clermont College at the University of Cincinnati is introducing three new academic programs to its roster of offerings beginning with the Summer 2025 or Fall 2025 semester. The programs, which include Health Informatics, Hospitality Management, and Neuroscience, have been designed to be innovative and to match the needs of the region’s workforce to help set up students for career success.

According to an article on the University of Cincinnati Clermont College’s website, Krista Clark, the associate dean of Academic Affairs, was quoted as saying, “We are incredibly excited to offer these new programs at UC Clermont. They reflect our commitment to providing students with relevant and high-quality education that meets the demands of today’s job market. We believe these programs will open up numerous opportunities for our students and help them achieve their career goals.”

The new Bachelor of Science in Health Informatics program will be offered completely online beginning with the Summer 2025 semester. The program has been designed to help students learn how to improve patient care experiences through data science and information technology. Students will learn how to work with health information systems and patient records. After completing the program, students will be equipped to head right out into a career, or it can serve as a stepping stone to the university’s Master of Science in Health Informatics online program.

The online Hospitality Management program will be launched in Fall 2025, with both an associate degree option and a certificate option. Students will learn how to excel in the hospitality industry, which includes resorts, restaurants, and hotels. In the Fall 2026 semester, the university will be launching a bachelor degree program in Hospitality Management to help students further advance their careers.

The Associate of Science in Neuroscience program launched in the Spring 2025 semester, and provides students with foundational knowledge about neuroscience to continue pursuing studies in health or research.
