Ohio’s Davis College has announced that they have added four new Associate of Applied Business programs in Digital Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, and Project management. More information about all of Davis College’s programs can be found on their website.

In a press release, Davis College President Diane Brunner said, "The new educational programs at Davis College offer its students timely programs that are in market demand. We believe in our mission to provide cost-effective and high value-added academic experiences for our students so they can realize their educational and career goals. We are pleased with the evolution of Davis College's academic programs as they are geared towards the long-term enrichment of our students' lives.”

Students interested in digital marketing, marketing, and advertising professions will want to look into the Digital Marketing AAB Program. This program will teach students about how to best use social media platforms for marketing, general marketing strategies, content marketing, eCommerce, and data analytics.

For those interested in Health Services Administrator or Health Service Manager positions, the Healthcare Administration AAB will prepare students to get their foot in the door. The program focuses on health systems planning, public health management and organization, finance, formulation and analysis of public health policy, public health law and regulations, business and operations management, the economics of healthcare, marketing, human resources management, and more.

Logistics and Supply Chain Management has been top of mind for many people since the shortages caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, and as such, many may be interested in looking into Davis’ AAB program in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. By the end of the program, students will be able to manage and coordinate all logistical functions from acquisitions to receiving and handling. Students will also learn inventory control, logistics planning, transportation including shipping and delivery management, resource estimation and allocation, quality control, and budgeting.

The Project Management AAP program will provide students with the skills necessary to manage projects in many fields, industries, and occupations, by teaching qualitative and quantitative skills, tools, and knowledge.

Recently the Ohio Department of Higher Education approved Davis College to participate in the State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement or SARA. Being a member of SARA allows Davis College to offer online instruction to students, including for the new courses detailed above.
