The Muskingum Advantage is a tuition benefit for Muskingum alumni to earn a Master of Business Administration or a Master of Organizational Leadership at a reduced cost.

Muskingum University has introduced a new tuition benefit for its alumni called the Muskingum Advantage. The program will allow university alumni, regardless of which degrees they have earned or when they graduated, to earn a Master of Business Administration or a Master of Organizational Leadership at a reduced cost.

According to an article on Muskingum University's website, Dr. Robert McManus, who serves as the Executive Director of Graduate Business and Organizational Leadership, was quoted as saying of the Muskingum Advantage, “The Muskingum Advantage was designed with Muskingum’s values of affordability and excellence in mind. Our alumni already know the value of a Muskingum education. This program gives them the opportunity to continue that experience and earn a graduate degree at a significantly reduced cost.”

Muskingum alumni will be able to earn a Master of Business Administration or a Master of Organizational Leadership for only $15,500 thanks to the new tuition benefit program. The online graduate programs are designed to be flexible and are able to be completed within one year, depending on the schedule and needs of the student.

According to the Muskingum Advantage webpage, the program is “Muskingum investing back — in whatever comes next for you: a promotion, a new industry, or a bigger leadership role.” The online nature of the eligible programs is ideal for working professionals who are looking to upskill or change their career trajectory. The page also notes that at $15,500, the tuition for both of these programs is well under the national average, coming in at least half the cost of typical programs.

The Master of Organizational Leadership program is ideal for alumni who want to transition into leadership roles, regardless of their undergraduate degree. It prepares individuals to work in leadership roles in business and corporate settings, healthcare and administration, education and community leadership, and nonprofit & public service. The program is 30 credit hours and can be completed in one year.

The Master of Business Administration program prepares individuals to analyze business challenges, lead strategically, and work on skills like financial analysis and market data, business strategy and planning, marketing, operations and resources, and leading teams through change.
