The partnership will provide Wright State University faculty members with AI content and resources that they can use in their classrooms for free as part of the Intel Digital Readiness Program.
Wright State University has partnered with Intel for its Digital Readiness Program, marking only the second time a public four-year institution in the United States has done so. The partnership will see faculty members within the Raj Soin College of Business integrating AI resources and training into their course curricula. Students will benefit from the exposure to AI programs and resources, a growing institution within the US workforce.
According to an article on Wright State University's website, Rachel Sturm, Ph.D., who serves as the associate dean of the Raj Soin College of Business, was quoted as saying of the partnership, “This partnership is huge for us. Intel has been an innovator in the AI space, particularly in terms of removing barriers to accessing this technology, and we are very grateful to have access to their AI content. This program enables and augments existing workforce capacity in the Dayton region with AI skills for professional impact. AI is quickly reshaping the way we work, live and interact with the world. By including the application of AI, among other technologies, into our coursework, we are ensuring our graduates are not only ready for the current workforce but are also able to bring impactful change to the future workforce.”
As part of the Intel Digital Readiness program, faculty members in the Soin College of Business will have access to Intel’s extensive library of resources, like workbooks, software, presentation decks, guides, and other course content. In addition to the content, the partnership will also provide students with certification opportunities to bolster their resumes when they are ready to look for AI-related jobs.
Anshul Sonak, who serves as the global director and head of digital readiness programs at Intel, said of the company’s partnership with Wright State University, “Intel is pleased to collaborate with Wright State University to prepare current and future business leaders with AI readiness. Leadership development with the necessary AI skillset, mindset, and toolset is critical for everyone to thrive in the future of work that embraces AI everywhere. We look forward to more leaders building AI-infused, responsible and innovative businesses.”
Other aspects of the partnership have already gone into effect, such as two summer workshops: the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans and the AI Camp for high schoolers. Intel also held orientation sessions for faculty members earlier in 2025 to introduce bringing Intel’s resources into their curricula. Faculty members from accounting, finance, financial services, economics, entrepreneurship, management information systems, marketing, human resources management, and supply chain management have attended these sessions.
Wright State University is leaning into AI, having recently introduced a minor in artificial intelligence for business.
