Lindsey Wilson College forms partnership with Elizabethtown Community and Technical College

The partnership will allow ECTC graduates with certain associate degrees to earn one of two bachelor degrees from Lindsey Wilson College right on ECTC’s campus.

Lindsey Wilson College and Elizabethtown Community and Technical College have formed a partnership that will bring more educational opportunities to students with associate degrees without having to transfer to a new location. ECTC students who earn an associate of science degree in business can continue on to earn a bachelor of arts degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting, human resource management, and marketing from Lindsey Wilson College, and ECTC students who earn an associate of science degree in human services can continue on to earn a bachelor of arts degree in human services and counseling from Lindsey Wilson College.

According to an article on Lindsey Wilson College’s website, ECTC President Juston C. Pate was quoted as saying of the partnership, “This partnership is another way we can provide another impactful opportunity for our students. You know that old definition of success -- it’s what happens when preparation meets opportunity. We’re bringing the opportunity and the path with the preparation.”

A signing ceremony for the agreement was held on April 25, 2025 at the ECTC Regional Postsecondary Center. The partnership is intended to help more students receive bachelor degrees by expanding access to them. The ECTC Robbins University Center allows ECTC students to earn four-year degrees and master’s degrees right on its own campus, providing expanded access right in the students’ current backyard.

Lindsey Wilson College and Elizabethtown Community and Technical College have previously partnered on a similar agreement regarding human services in counseling in 2009.
