The programs are Doctor of Health Sciences and Doctor of Business Administration, both of which are available fully online.
Lawrence Technological University is introducing two new programs to its roster of offerings: Doctor of Health Sciences and Doctor of Business Administration. Both programs will be offered in a fully online format and focus on collaboration, research, and digital integration. The programs will be available beginning with the Fall 2025 semester.
According to an article on Lawrence Technological University’s website, Tarek Sobh, Ph.D, the university’s president, was quoted as saying of the new additions, “These new doctoral programs represent the next chapter in LTU’s 92-year legacy of producing industry-leading, transformative professionals. They are designed not just to prepare individuals for a changing world—but to empower them to lead that change, whether in healthcare systems or global enterprises.”
The Doctor of Health Science program is the first in the state of Michigan. The interdisciplinary program has four embedded certificates: Healthcare Informatics, Health System Leadership, Academic Leadership, and Lifestyle Management Cost. The program is, according to its webpage, designed for individuals “seeking to build relevant skills that can [be] applied toward career growth and leadership roles across the healthcare sector.” It is an online, asynchronous program that is expected to take between two to three years to complete.
The Doctor of Business administration program is described on its webpage as a “research-intensive, practitioner-scholar degree blends a rigorous business core curriculum with advanced research methods and dissertation work.” The program is interdisciplinary and STEM focused, intended for individuals who want to lead businesses using a digital technology approach. The program is expected to take three years to complete.
Virtual open houses are available for each program.
