Tiffin University partners with alumnus-owned MST Sauce Company to offer Dipped in Gold sauce to support student scholarships
All proceeds from sales of Dipped in Gold sauce will go into an endowed fund for student scholarships at Tiffin University.
Tiffin University alumnus Chris Chase owns MST Pub & Grub, a restaurant at which he can be found cooking, taking orders, or socializing with guests. In 2020, Chase began offering sauces for sale through his new venture, MST Sauce Company. One of the sauces available for purchase is called Tiffin University Dipped in Gold: a Golden Glaze Sauce, all of the profits from which will enter into an endowed fund to support student scholarships at Tiffin University.
According to an article on Tiffin University’s website, Chase is quoted as saying of this partnership, “We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Tiffin University, introducing our newest creation, Dipped in Gold sauce. Proceeds from this delicious sauce will go towards a scholarship for a future student at TU. We love working with such a great institution that molds future entrepreneurs and showcases the power of collaboration within the community.”
The sauce is marketed as a “sauce with a purpose,” as the proceeds will all support Tiffin University students to pursue their higher education journey via scholarships.
Vickie Wilkins, who serves as the Director of Alumni Relations at Tiffin University, explained the partnership, saying, “We are incredibly proud to announce our partnership with MST Sauce Company to introduce our exclusive sauce, Dipped in Gold. This collaboration is especially meaningful as MST Sauce Company is owned by one of our very own, two-time alumnus, Chris Chase. Dipped in Gold is a flavorful representation of our shared dedication to excellence and innovation.
