Purdue University Northwest is now the largest Hispanic Serving Institution in the state of Indiana.
The funding will provide up to 85 students with summer coursework for Science of Reading to enhance their understanding of the program as future elementary school educators.
Liberal Education and America’s Promise (LEAP) Indiana Annual Teaching Award was awarded to Associate Professor of Sociology Dr. Hubert Izienicki.
The project will help children in Indiana deal with the effects of childhood trauma.
