The nine-month Medical Assistant program at American Institute of Alternative Medicine intends to provide students with the skills necessary to fill an entry-level medical assisting position. Though certification is not required for medical assistants, the program aims to prepare students to take the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) exam. Students will learn clinical and administrative skills throughout the program.
Licensed Practical Nurse
American Institute of Alternative Medicine offers a nine-month Practical Nursing program. The program will prepare students for the NCLEX-PN exam. Throughout the program students will learn the bedside role of the licensed practical nurse: how to provide routine care for their patients.
