Knox County Career Center offers the following healthcare-related courses:

Medical Assistant

The nine-month medical assisting program at Knox County Career Center aims to prepare students to work in entry-level medical assisting positions and pass the certification exam offered by the American Association of Medical Assistants. Students will learn anatomy, how to take vitals, and diagnostic coding.

Practical Nursing

Knox County Career Center offers an 18-month Practical Nursing program. The school boasts the #9 ranked Practical Nursing program in the state of Ohio. Students will learn the basic nursing skills and gain the clinical experience necessary to be eligible to take the NCLEX-PN exam upon completing the program.

Knox County Career Center trades program receives $5,000 donation from Indiana/Kentucky/Ohio Regional Council of Carpenters

The Indiana/Kentucky/Ohio Regional Council of Carpenters has recently donated $5,000 to Knox County Career Center’s Building Trades Program. The money will be used to buy tools, equipment, and building materials used in the program’s classes.
