The 70-credit hour Medical Assisting Technology program at Youngstown State University can be completed in two years and will award graduates with an associate's degree. Students will learn in a variety of settings, including in the classroom, in the lab, and in the field. Students will gain proficiency in both clinical and administrative skills, including record management, payroll, and collecting specimens.
The program, housed within the Bitonte College of Health and Human Services, will launch with the Fall 2025 semester and will award students with an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Radiologic Technology.
