Medical Assisting - Certificate
The Medical Assisting program at Columbus State Community College prepares students to become entry-level medical assistants. Both administrative and clinical skills are taught throughout the program, so students will have the chance to learn about things like EKG, sterilization, and scheduling. Students who graduate the program may take the certification exam.
Veterinary Technology - Associate of Applied Science Degree
Veterinary Technology students at Columbus State Community College will be prepared for a career as a veterinary technician. Students will learn how to care for animals under the supervision of a veterinarian, and will learn skills like veterinary anatomy and physiology, animal nutrition, and veterinary surgical techniques.
Practical Nursing - Certificate
The Columbus State Community College Practical Nursing program aims to prepare students for successful work as part of a healthcare team. Students will learn how to interact with patients and how to effectively communicate with other healthcare workers. After completing the program, students are able to take the NCLEX-PN exam.
