The five-semester associate of science in Nursing program at Trine University aims to prepare students to work as registered nurses. Students will learn how to provide patient-centered care, utilize evidence-based practice, and effectively communicate with other medical team members. Courses in the program include Women's Health & Childbirth, Advanced Care for Adults Lab, and Nursing Fundamentals Lab.
Trine University students will help investigate cold cases with the FWPD. The program is modeled after a similar one at Western Michigan University.
