Certified Medical Assistant

Washington County Career Center-Adult Technical Training has a one-year Certified Medical Assistant program that trains students to perform dual roles in healthcare facilities. Students will be trained in administrative and clinical tasks. Course topics include medical terminology, pharmacology, and vital signs. After successfully completing the program, students may test for certification for both Medical Assisting and Phlebotomy.

Medical Billing & Coding Specialist

The Medical Billing & Coding Specialist program at Washington County Career Center-Adult Technical Training is a 12-month program that will prepare students to work in a health insurance operations role. Among the topics covered throughout the program are ICD10 and CPT coding, electronic health records, law and ethics, and principles of medical insurance.
