Nursing - Bachelor of Science
The Nursing program at Austin Peay State University prepares students to become nurse generalists. The School of Nursing has 24 expert faculty members who will guide students through the program. Courses included in the Nursing program include Fundamentals of Nursing, Trends and Issues of Professional Nursing, and Intro to Psychology.
Recent news about Austin Peay State University
The project has been in the works since the Fall 2022 semester and aims to be a more convenient way for students and faculty to move about campus, in addition to being more sustainable than physical ID cards.
The camp, “Do You Want to be a Nurse?,” will feature hands-on nursing simulations from Austin Peay nursing instructors.
This is the fourth year Austin Peay has hosted a conference on rural education. It will focus on the unique aspects of rural education and what opportunities there are to improve student experiences.
Dr. Kallina Dunkle, professor of geology, earned the Inclusion Champion Award.
More than 1,200 combined hours of community service occurred in one day thanks to faculty, staff, and students taking part in the inaugural event.
