Nursing - Associate of Applied Science Degree

Students in the Nursing AAS program at Kent State University at Ashtabula will be trained and prepared to take the NCLEX-RN exam. Courses include Therapeutic Use of Self, Foundational Anatomy and Physiology, and Science of Human Nutrition. The program has two optional concentrations: LPN to ADN and Paramedic to ADN.

Occupational Therapy Assistant Technology - Associate of Applied Science Degree

The Occupational Therapy Assistant Technology program at Kent State University at Ashtabula is a hybrid program that prepares students to become qualified to work under licensed occupational therapists. Students will take courses like Occupational Therapy Management and Leadership Skills, Clinical Kinesiology, and Professionalism in Healthcare, and will have to complete fieldwork in addition to classroom work. Graduates of the program can sit for the national certification exam.
