The seven-month Dental Assisting program at Ashland County-West Holmes Career Center will prepare students for work as a dental assistant. Students will learn important skills like dental laboratory procedures, radiography, and infection control. Students can earn certifications throughout the course, including CPR and American Medical Technologists Registered Dental Assistant.
Medical Assisting
Ashland County-West Holmes Career Center offers a nine-month Medical Assisting program. The goal of the program is to prepare students for a career as a medical assistant, as well as for the Certified Medical Assisting exam and the Registered Medical Assisting exam. Students will learn how to administer medications, schedule appointments, and draw blood.
